I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling. I attended the Albert Ellis Institute of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and the Milton Erickson Institute of Hypnotherapy and is a recognized expert in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for behavioral health, substance use issues, health issues and pain management. I have over 30 years of experience working in the behavioral health and substance use fields holding licenses in four states. I am a student of mindfulness, meditation and religious philosophies and am a lay minister. I provide telehealth services in HI, AZ, WA and FL and in-office services in Maui, HI as a part of the DEHP Sea Experience.

I served as an adjunct faculty lecturer and family therapy supervisor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona for eleven years. I have worked with individuals and groups for over 20 years, both in a clinical setting as well as in a crisis intervention capacity. I have witnessed and assisted people from essentially birth to death with all things related to being human and all the beauty and complexities that come with that. My one desire as a therapist, is to always leave people better than I found them.
